We are a group of LEGO® fans who are also railfans. Our goals are:

  • To share our ideas and skills with each other and with LEGO train fans around the world.
  • To bring high-quality, interactive layouts to both train shows and LEGO events.
  • To improve the quality, quantity, and visibility of LEGO model railroading throughout the great nation of Texas!

Most of our communication takes place through the TBRR Google Group. Send a join request to be added to this group.

Our first official event as a group was in February at the Great Train Expo in Houston. We had a big exhibit with 13 members present. We operated up to eight trains (including a monorail!) at once!

Our most recent event was the Austin Mini Maker Faire, where our exhibit got Slashdotted!

A couple of our members will travel to Atlanta this summer to participate in the LEGO layout at the National Train Show.

This website will continue to grow. There will be a calendar of events. What else would you like to see from your Texan LEGO train club? Send comments to Steve Jackson at sj@sjgames.com.
